I would like to thank the approximately 41,000 Pennsylvanians who honored me with their vote in the 2002 General Election. Because so many of you voted for a Libertarian Governor, we Libertarians have achieved party status here in Pennsylvania. That means everyone can now register to vote as a Libertarian, and there will be a Libertarian check box on all voter registration forms. Party status also grants us other, less-visible benefits, such as making it easy for a Libertarian to run in any special election. It all adds up to a greater, well-deserved respect being paid to Pennsylvania's (and America's) third-largest political party. Your vote helped to make this all come to pass, and I thank you.
